Saturday Workshop Series: Expanding Your Practice!
-integrating mindful breath, bandhas, alignment of energy flow and the traditional 8 limbs of yoga into our physical practice-
Join us in April with our Saturday Series featuring guest instructor Andi Deanne.
Saturdays starting April 5. Time: 2 – 4:30pm
Whether new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, this workshop series is for you. The Expanding your Practice Series for April focuses on integrating in the breath, bandhas, energy, and alignment more into our physical practice, as well as focusing in on the other 7 limbs of yoga (noting yoga is an 8 limbed practice, with the physical postures being 1 limb).
This series will incorporate not only postures ( in a Ashtanga influenced Vinyasa sequence), but focus on alignment, breathwork, meditation, and delving into the yamas and niyamas as part of the traditional 8 limbs of yoga.
Saturdays starting this Saturday, April 5
First workshop focuses on integration of and moving with the breath

Andi brings a kind, welcoming practice emphasizing mindful conscious breathing, yoga traditions, alignment, and integration of energy flow into the physical asanas. She comes to us from Honduras (via Maui, Hawaii), where she started the ongoing community yoga program on the island of Utila. She is a strong advocate that yoga practitioners understand that Yoga is more than postures, but a traditional system as described in Patanjali’s 8 limbs. Incorporating Vinyasa and Ashtanga inspired based sequencing with attention to alignment and body mechanics, her classes bring you into your own practice with kindness, emphasizing truly being present and allowing for the connection with the greater energy to occur.
